Planer Mill Production Worker
Specialty Woodwork Industry
We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Planer Mill Production worker to join our team in the cabinet, millwork, and casework industry. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong communication skills, a proactive approach to managing and fulfilling orders, and a commitment to producing high-quality products for our customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up the rough planer and straight-line rip saw
- Stage materials for surfacing operations
- Perform lumber counts and tallies
- feed and down stack lumber through the planer
- Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to work in varying conditions (heat, cold, noise)
- Ability to stand, bend, and climb for extended periods

- Ability to identify and grade hardwood species
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Forklift certified
- Adaptability to changing priorities
- Initiative and self-motivation
- Attention to detail and accuracy
Work Environment
Industrial/manufacturing facility with exposure to heavy machinery, saws, and varying environmental conditions. Safety is paramount and must be consistently demonstrated and reinforced as part of our company culture.
Schedule
Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
