As the first and last impression of Biscuits & Buns on Banks, our hosts set the tone for a warm, welcoming, and upbeat guest experience. We’re looking for energetic, friendly, and organized team members who can manage busy brunch flows, maintain waitlists, and ensure every guest feels like a VIP. --- Key Responsibilities Greet every guest with a warm smile and Southern hospitality. Manage the waitlist using our POS/reservation system (or physical list if applicable). Communicate accurate wait times and seat guests in an efficient, guest-focused manner. Answer the phone professionally and assist with general inquiries, takeout orders, or call-ahead seating. Monitor table turnover and help manage the pacing of the dining room. Ensure cleanliness and tidiness of the host stand, entrance, and waiting area at all times. Provide menus and inform guests of any specials, featured items, or events. Assist with handling to-go orders and third-party pickup when needed. Communicate with front and back of house to ensure smooth service transitions.
