Job Summary
The Technical Project Manager will support Project Transformer in a technical and execution focused capacity, partnering directly with RJF Pricing, Advisory stakeholders, technology partners, operations teams, and the Advisory workstream to help design, coordinate, and implement the auto incept process for Advisory and Management New Accounts.
This role will manage project execution across business process design, technical coordination, requirements tracking, testing readiness, implementation planning, issue resolution, and stakeholder alignment. The role requires strong project management discipline, financial services experience, and the ability to work closely with both business and technical teams.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Partner with RJF Pricing, Advisory stakeholders, technology teams, and operations partners to support the design and implementation of the auto incept process for Advisory and Management New Accounts

Manage detailed project execution plans, including scope, requirements, deliverables, milestones, dependencies, testing activities, implementation tasks, and readiness criteria

Coordinate business and technical requirements gathering, documentation, review, and approval across impacted teams

Identify, define, and document business processes, technical dependencies, operational impacts, and project deliverables

Track and manage risks, issues, decisions, dependencies, action items, defects, and open questions related to the Advisory auto incept workstream

Facilitate working sessions with business and technical stakeholders to drive requirements clarity, design decisions, testing alignment, and implementation readiness

Coordinate testing planning, testing execution status, defect management, quality assurance activities, and acceptance criteria prior to implementation

Partner with workstream leads to ensure deliverables are aligned with Project Transformer objectives, technology standards, business priorities, and operational needs

Support change control, scope management, implementation planning, deployment coordination, and implementation stabilization activities

Maintain accurate project documentation, including requirements, process flows, meeting notes, status reports, issue logs, risk logs, decision logs, and implementation plans

Use Smartsheet, Azure DevOps, Microsoft Project, or similar tools to manage project plans, sprint activities, dashboards, queries, risks, issues, and reporting

Coordinate with cross functional teams and help guide teams through Agile delivery routines, sprint planning, backlog tracking, status reporting, and execution ceremonies where applicable.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

The ideal candidate will have experience managing technical or business technology projects within financial services, asset management, banking, brokerage, advisory, or securities industry operations.

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required

6 to 10 years of project management experience preferred

Experience working in financial services, asset management, banking, brokerage, advisory, or securities operations preferred

Smartsheet experience required

PMP certification required

CSM or equivalent certification preferred but not required

Managing complex technical or operational projects with business, technology, pricing, advisory, and operations stakeholders

Supporting requirements gathering, process design, solution implementation, testing, and deployment readiness

Applying project management methodologies, governance processes, and delivery standards

Coordinating Agile or hybrid delivery execution, including sprint planning, backlog tracking, dashboard management, and delivery reporting

Managing risks, issues, dependencies, decisions, action items, and change control processes

Supporting large cross functional teams through project planning, execution, testing, implementation, and stabilization

Maintaining precise documentation and artifacts required by PMO, audit, technology, business, and implementation teams.

Serving as a liaison between internal business customers, technology partners, and external suppliers where applicable.
This is the pay range that Magnit reasonably expects to pay for this position: $64.66/hour - $86.21/hour
