Job Overview
Northrop Grumman Global Supply Chain is seeking Material Handlers to join its Goods Movement team. This is an onsite, contract-to-hire opportunity supporting aerospace and defense manufacturing operations through material handling, kitting, inventory movement, shipping, receiving, and delivery activities. Telework is not available.
Responsibilities
- Support material movement activities throughout the facility.
- Pick, kit, and stage materials for production operations.
- Deliver materials to internal customers and manufacturing areas.
- Assist with shipping and receiving activities.
- Perform inventory transactions and material tracking activities.
- Load, unload, and transport materials using approved equipment.
- Maintain material accuracy and organization within warehouse locations.
- Support a safe, clean, and efficient work environment.
Basic Qualifications
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
- Comfortable working on your feet and handling materials throughout the day.
- Willingness to learn new processes and systems.
- Previous warehouse, logistics, military, manufacturing, retail, or material handling experience is helpful but not required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Forklift operations experience.
- Knowledge of health and safety standards.
- Experience with SAP ERP.
- Shipping and receiving experience.
Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
