We will be brewing moon goat coffee which is top tier. And will need 1-2 expert baristas. And 2 other baristas with some experience. Allow will be trained by the moon goat team.
Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and specialty drinks with precision and flair
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process transactions accurately and efficiently
- Engage with customers warmly, providing friendly service and answering questions about menu items
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including food handling and food safety practices
- Manage cash handling responsibilities with accuracy using basic math skills for sales reconciliation
- Assist in food preparation and serving snacks or light meals as needed
- Uphold food safety standards and proper food handling procedures to ensure a safe environment for all guests
Requirements
- Previous barista experience or background in the food industry preferred
- Knowledge of POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and positively
- Excellent time management skills to handle busy periods efficiently
- Ability to perform basic math for sales, retail math, and cash handling tasks
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and proper food handling techniques
- Experience in serving, food preparation, or retail math is a plus but not mandatory
