Step into an impactful role supporting students in a dynamic school environment for the 2026-2027 academic year. Full-time Speech-Language Pathologists are sought to enhance communication and academic growth for students from August 31, 2026, through June 17, 2027. This is an on-site, in-person opportunity working across both secondary and elementary settings, with a caseload of approximately 45 students at the secondary level and 42 at the elementary level.
Required Qualifications:
- Current Washington State Speech-Language Pathology License
- Educational Staff Associate (ESA) Certification
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Experience providing speech-language pathology services within school settings
- Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills
- Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and engage families in the education process
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and deliver individualized speech and language interventions for students
- Develop and implement IEPs tailored to each student’s needs
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other staff to support academic success
- Maintain accurate records of sessions, progress notes, and assessments
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, providing expertise on communication disorders
- Advocate for student access to services and inclusive practices within the classroom
