Duties
- Serve food and beverages to guests efficiently and courteously, ensuring timely delivery and presentation.
- Set up event spaces with tables, linens, utensils, and serving stations to create an inviting atmosphere.
- Clear plates, buss tables, and assist with food handling to maintain cleanliness and smooth flow of service.
- Refill drinks, assist with food preparation tasks as needed, and support catering staff during events.
- Engage with guests positively, providing excellent guest relations and addressing any special requests or concerns.
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe dining experience for guests.
- Assist in breaking down event setups post-event, ensuring the venue is left tidy and organized.
Skills
- Previous experience in the food industry or hospitality environment is highly desirable.
- Strong guest services skills with a friendly, professional demeanor.
- Knowledge of banquet service, food handling, and food safety standards.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in fast-paced settings such as catering events or restaurants.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
- Experience with food preparation, serving techniques, and bussing is a plus.
