Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and innovative Architect to join our creative team, driving the design and execution of inspiring architectural projects. As an Architect, you will lead design development, coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, and oversee construction phases to bring visionary concepts to life. Your expertise will be instrumental in delivering impactful, sustainable, and innovative architectural solutions across diverse projects.
Responsibilities
- Lead the entire design process from conceptual sketches to detailed construction documents using AutoCAD, Revit, ArchiCAD, Rhino 3D, Grasshopper 3D, and SketchUp.
- Develop project schedules and manage timelines effectively to ensure timely delivery of design milestones and construction phases.
- Prepare accurate construction estimates and budgets by collaborating with estimators and contractors, utilizing construction estimating tools.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and vendors through negotiation and clear communication to align project goals and resolve issues swiftly.
- Oversee construction management activities including site visits, quality inspections, and ensuring adherence to design specifications using construction management practices.
- Utilize Bluebeam for document review, markup, and collaboration on project drawings and specifications.
- Manage project documentation including contracts, change orders, RFIs (Request for Information), and progress reports using project management software.
- Support business development efforts by preparing proposals, presentations, and fostering client relationships through effective communication and innovative design ideas.
- Incorporate interior design principles where applicable to enhance spatial functionality and aesthetic appeal in renovation projects.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in architecture or related fields with a strong portfolio demonstrating diverse project involvement including renovation and interior design.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, ArchiCAD, Rhino 3D (including Grasshopper 3D), SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign), Bluebeam, NavisWorks, and CAD software for drafting and visualization.
- Solid understanding of construction processes including budgeting, scheduling (project scheduling), contracts management, and construction estimating.
- Excellent negotiation skills for client interactions and vendor negotiations.
- Strong knowledge of building codes, zoning laws, sustainability practices, and construction management standards.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail in drafting (Drafting) and project management tasks.
- Effective communication skills for collaborating with teams across disciplines such as interior design professionals and engineers.
- Experience with renovation projects or interior design is highly desirable.

Pay: $140,096.64 - $156,811.33 per year
