Savage Development is a growing residential development and remodeling company based in Livingston County. We build new homes, renovate existing ones, and take pride in delivering high-quality craftsmanship. As we continue to grow, we're looking for dependable, motivated people who enjoy working with their hands and take pride in doing things the right way. This isn't a job where you'll be doing the same task every day. One week you might be building a deck, the next helping with a kitchen remodel, installing doors and trim, completing punch-list items, handling demolition, or tackling the dozens of projects that keep homes moving toward completion. If you enjoy variety, solving problems, and seeing tangible results from your work, you'll fit right in.
What You'll Be Doing
- Deck construction and exterior projects
- Remodeling support (demo, framing, finish work, etc.)
- Installing doors, trim, hardware, and shoe molding
- Punch-list and warranty work
- General carpentry and home repairs
- Whatever needs to get done to deliver a quality finished product
Who We're Looking For
We're open to a wide range of experience levels. Whether you're an experienced carpenter ready to work independently or an up-and-coming tradesperson with solid residential construction experience who's eager to learn, we'd love to talk. The right person:
- Has residential construction or remodeling experience
- Takes pride in quality workmanship and attention to detail
- Is dependable, hardworking, and shows up on time
- Can solve problems and work with minimal supervision
- Works well with homeowners, subcontractors, and teammates
- Has a valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Can safely lift 50+ pounds and work outdoors throughout the year
