Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist with their saltwater tank needs, providing product information and recommendations on coral and equipment to enhance their experience
- Manage inventory control by stocking shelves and ringing up items correctly to reflect current inventory count.
- Operate, clean, and maintain equipment such as auto top-off, return pumps, wavemakers, and frag tanks.
- Support merchandising efforts by creating attractive displays, restocking produce or other perishable items, and ensuring the shop floor is clean and organized
- Maintain store cleanliness through routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, dusting, and organizing storage areas to uphold health standards
Qualifications
- Previous saltwater tank/coral care experience or familiarity with similiar systems (such as freshwater) and aquaculture is highly desirable
- Ability to perform heavy lifting occasionally.
- Strong communication skills in multiple languages are beneficial for serving diverse customer bases
- Experience in retail sales or grocery store environments enhances your ability to provide excellent customer service
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail for stock control, packaging, labeling, and maintaining accurate records
- Demonstrated ability to perform physical tasks including load & unload activities while adhering to safety protocols
