Hampstead Internal Medicine is a growing primary care practice in Hampstead, NC. Our goal is to provide great pay, a fun and friendly work environment, a flexible schedule, and the support you need to take excellent care of your patients.
We have a provider going out on maternity leave and need someone to fill her hours for 3-4 months while out. We expect to need 36 hours per week for those 3-4 months starting in late September and through December. This is flexible. Starting in January, we may transition to full time depending on our clinic growth.
Our model is built around caring for our patients as our top priority. We want you spending time with patients, not in front of the EMR. To do that, we assign care managers to most patients to help with non-clinical tasks and to free you up for clinical work. We are looking for hard working, responsible providers who are ready to take ownership of their patients and provide great care.
In order to maintain a great long term experience for you and for our patients we are built around a model of seeing, on average, 15 patient encounters per day. We do make house calls in local independent living facilities, and that will be part of this role (approximately 3 half days/month).
The right candidate will be comfortable working independently to manage a panel of adult patients, have great personal and communication skills, and have a passion for taking care of people in this community. There will be an in-house physician most days, however, a successful candidate will be able to practice independently.
