Harvest Health MD - Certified Clinical Medical Assistant
We are looking for a highly motivated, organized, and dependable Certified Medical Assistant/ Receptionist to join our team at Harvest Health MD.
This role is ideal for someone with at least two years of experience in primary care (family medicine or pediatrics) who thrives under pressure, values patient-centered care, and can confidently support both clinical operations and executive workflow. Compensation and Benefits:
After successful completion of the 90-day probationary period pay is subject to incremental increases based on performance.
Potential for growth and advancement based on performance and organizational needs.
Quarterly bonuses may be available based on performance and achievement of KPIs based on performance review.
Work Schedule:
Approximately 20-30 hours per week

What Doing a Great Job Will Look Like
Success in this role means helping the practice run smoothly while ensuring patients receive excellent communication, support, and care coordination. We are a lower volume, high touch, broad scope practice so you will use all your skills from front end to back medical assisting work.
Medical Assistance Responsibilities:
- Assisting with patient intake and registration processes
- Completing prior authorizations accurately and efficiently
- Maintaining the physician’s calendar and appointment schedule
- Supporting patient follow-ups, medication refills, and care coordination
- Communicating effectively with pharmacies and patients
- Managing electronic health records (EHR) while maintaining HIPAA compliance
- Preparing and sending patient reminders and follow-up communications
- Answering emails, texts, calls, and patient inquiries professionally
- Educating patients about practice procedures, services, and policies
- Assisting with billing and collections
- Taking vitals, phlebotomy, injections, vaccine administration
- Phlebotomy and specimen collection
- Assist physician with medical treatments, procedures, and exams
- General office cleaning/maintenance, exam room preparation, instrument maintenance
