Texas Wine Collective is looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Part-Time Accountant to help manage the day-to-day accounting needs of our winery. This is a very flexible position that averages only 20–25 hours per month, with just one day per month required onsite at our Fredericksburg winery. The remainder of the work can be done from home.
This would be a great fit for someone who enjoys working independently, is comfortable managing their own schedule, and has solid accounting experience.
What You'll Do
- Handle monthly bookkeeping and accounting tasks
- Reconcile bank and credit card accounts
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Record and categorize financial transactions
- Prepare monthly financial reports
- Assist with month-end close and account reconciliations
- Review financial activity for accuracy and identify discrepancies
- Track outstanding invoices and balances
- Help management understand and monitor the winery's financials
- Work with our CPA and other outside accounting professionals as needed
- Assist with year-end accounting and tax preparation
- Keep financial records organized and up to date
- Maintain confidentiality of company financial information
What We're Looking For
- Previous bookkeeping or accounting experience
- Experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting software
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good understanding of basic accounting principles
- Organized and able to manage deadlines independently
- Comfortable working remotely with minimal supervision
- Good communication skills
- Reliable and responsive
Winery, hospitality, retail, or small-business accounting experience is a plus, but not required.
The Schedule
This is a very flexible part-time position, averaging approximately 20–25 hours per month.
- Approximately one day per month working onsite at our winery in Fredericksburg
- Remaining hours can be completed remotely
- Flexible scheduling as long as monthly deadlines and responsibilities are met

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
