We're a family-run commercial glass and glazing contractor, and we're looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to help us run our jobs tighter, protect our margins, and keep our crews and subs set up to win.
This isn't a corner-office PM role. You'll be hands-on — walking jobsites, talking directly with our employees, sub-contractors and suppliers, and owning projects from bid hand-off through final glazing and closeout. No over night travel. Home with your family every night.
What You'll Do
- Manage multiple commercial glazing projects simultaneously — storefronts, curtain wall, window systems — from award through closeout
- Track budget vs. actual costs by category (glass, aluminum, labor, sub labor, delivery/logistics) on a weekly basis, and flag overruns before they become losses
- Coordinate and hold accountable our fabrication, installation, and glazing crews.
- Manage material procurement and delivery logistics to avoid the wasted trips and rush charges that eat into margin
- Build and maintain project schedules; coordinate with GCs, architects, and inspectors
- Review and negotiate change orders when scope or material costs shift
- Communicate directly with customers and general contractors — you're often the face of the company on a job
- Mentor and support junior staff and field crews as the company grows
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of project management experience in commercial glazing, curtain wall, or a closely related construction trade
- Strong understanding of glazing systems, fabrication processes, and installation sequencing
- Real experience managing subcontractor relationships and per-unit/fixed-price labor agreements
- Sharp with budgets — comfortable reading a job cost report and catching a problem early, not after the invoice arrives
- Organized, direct communicator who can manage multiple jobs and competing deadlines without dropping the ball
- Comfortable with basic project management and spreadsheet tools
- A valid driver's license and willingness to be on jobsites regularly, not just in the office
Why Work Here
- Family-owned and operated — decisions get made fast, and you'll have a real voice in how projects are run
- Direct access to ownership; no layers of corporate bureaucracy
- Competitive salary, commensurate with experience
- Health insurance / PTO / vehicle allowance / bonus structure, 401K, dental, Vision
- Stable, growing book of commercial work and at home every night.
