Pay Rate: $17/hr - higher rate after temp to hire period!
Shift: 5am-5pm rotating days meaning you have to work every other weekend (Flexible for OT)

The Lee Group is looking for a Forklift Operators to work for a valued client in Suffolk, Virginia. We are seeking knowledgeable, detail-oriented and intuitive Forklift Operators to join our team. If you are passionate about material handling, maintaining inventory and ensuring a smooth flow of production, we want to hear from you!
Requirements of the Forklift Operator:

High school diploma/GED required
-
Have a valid forklift certification
-
2+ years of forklift experience
-
Safely operate a forklift to move materials, finished products, and supplies within the
premises -
Load and unload trucks, containers, and pallets using the forklift, ensuring proper weight
distribution and secure stacking -
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods

Comfortable working in a fast-paced and sometimes noisy environment
-
Ability to work without a forklift, at times assisting in the loading and unloading of trucks
and containers -
Ability to work in a non-climate controlled environment
Responsibilities of the Forklift Operator:

Handle and manage inbound and outbound materials
-
Oversee and keep track of inventory
-
Operating the forklift to move materials and load/unload trucks

Be able to work without the forklift assisting in stacking materials

Inspect forklift before and after use
-
Utilize scanning guns and understanding of the principles of warehouse and inventory
management
