Here's a rewritten version that leads with purpose, highlights the culture you're building, and makes the role feel like an opportunity rather than a checklist:
Client Mentor – Day & Swing Shifts Corner Canyon Health Centers | Draper, Utah
Why This Role Matters
At Corner Canyon Health Centers, our mentors aren't just staff — they're often the most important people in a client's day. While therapists and clinicians do the clinical work, mentors do the human work: showing up consistently, modeling what health looks like, and being a steady presence for adults navigating some of the hardest moments of their lives.
If you're someone who finds meaning in that kind of work — who wants a career in behavioral health or is already in one — this role is built for you.
About Us
Corner Canyon is a residential mental health treatment center nestled at the foot of the Wasatch Mountains in Draper, Utah. We specialize in trauma-informed, evidence-based care for adults, with particular expertise serving the LGBTQIA+ community. Our team is small enough to feel like family and serious enough to hold high clinical standards.
The Role
As a Client Mentor, you are the backbone of daily residential life. You'll maintain client safety and supervision, support the daily programming schedule, respond to crises, facilitate life-skills development, administer medications per protocol, and ensure the environment stays clean, calm, and therapeutic. You'll work closely with your Shift Supervisor and House Manager to keep operations running smoothly and hand off clearly to the next shift.
This is a direct care role. It's active, relational, and meaningful — and it will stretch you professionally in the best way.
Shifts Available:
- Day Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
- Swing Shift: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
