The CRNA is a registered nurse and advanced practice nurse who is responsible for working in conjunction with anesthesiologists; surgeons; and other physicians and medical professionals to deliver anesthesia for medical and surgical procedures.

- Master's Degree in Nursing Anesthesia

- Registered Nurse
- Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist State of Texas
- CPR-ACLS

- Knowledge of medical practices; terminology; and reimbursement policies
- Thorough knowledge of best evidenced-based practices in anesthesia
- Knowledge in conflict resolution
- Extensive skill in observation and monitoring patients using vision; tactile sensation; and sense of smell

- Skill in evaluating the effectiveness of existing methods and procedures
