Position Summary
Plane Part Solutions is seeking a motivated FAA-certified Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Mechanic to join our growing aviation aftermarket parts business. Looking to have full time and part time A&P assist our operation.
This is a unique position combining aviation technical knowledge with warehouse operations, inventory management, and aircraft parts identification. Rather than performing routine aircraft maintenance, you'll help identify, inspect, package, and ship aircraft components for customers around the world.

Responsibilities
- Identify aircraft parts using Illustrated Parts Catalogs (IPC), maintenance manuals, and manufacturer documentation
- Pull, inspect, package, and prepare aircraft parts for shipment
- Receive and organize incoming inventory
- Build wooden shipping crates when required
- Safely operate warehouse equipment
- Assist with inventory management and cycle counts
- Maintain accurate records of parts and documentation
- Ensure proper handling of aviation components
- Keep warehouse clean, organized, and OSHA compliant
- Assist with occasional aircraft teardown projects as needed
QualificationsRequired
- FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Certificate
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Basic computer proficiency
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to read aircraft maintenance manuals and Illustrated Parts Catalogs
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
Preferred
- Experience with Gulfstream, Falcon, Hawker, Citation, Learjet, or other business aircraft
- Warehouse or aviation parts experience
- Experience with aircraft disassembly or teardown
- Forklift experience (or willingness to be trained)
- ERP or inventory software experience

Compensation
$30–40/hour, depending on experience.
