Job Summary
We're a family-owned auto body shop servicing the community for over 45 years with a great team and solid reputation. We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Auto Body Parts Coordinator to join our team. In this vital role, you will oversee inventory management, distribution of automotive parts, ensuring seamless operations within our company. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a fast-paced automotive setting, utilizing your mechanical knowledge and logistics skills to support our service excellence in addition to opportunities for growth!
Responsibilities
- Accurately ordering parts from preferred suppliers
- Checking in parts when they arrive for accuracy and visually inspect for damage
- Verify parts are correct by mirror matching
- Return and reorder incorrect or damaged parts
- Reviews shop estimates to ensure the parts ordered are correct and all pricing is in line with the estimate
- Distribute parts to parts containers and deliver to vehicles and/or appropriate departments
- Track incomplete order status (outstanding orders and back orders) and follow up as
- necessary
- Scanning parts invoices into the appropriate repair order in CCC
- Communicate and coordinate with production team regarding parts order
- Update repair orders in CCC to document status of parts orders (supplemental parts eta, backorder parts eta, etc.)
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Performs additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Must be detail oriented
- Excellent telephone and customer service skills
- Able to prioritize and effectively manage tasks
- Demonstrated experience and knowledge working in autobody collision repair facility
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite for data entry, reporting, and correspondence
- Strong customer service orientation with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently
- Must have valid Hawaii Driver’s License
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
