EXPERIENCED SEASONAL WEDDING FLORAL DESIGNER
Seasonal, Part-Time | September–October 2026
An established wedding floral studio is seeking an experienced seasonal floral designer for specific production dates throughout September and October.
This is a hands-on, supporting production position for a seasoned designer who enjoys working within an established studio’s systems and creative direction. Applicants must already have professional wedding floral design experience and be able to work efficiently with minimal instruction.
This is not an entry-level position, floral-training opportunity, internship, creative-director role, or business-development position.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Create bridesmaid bouquets
- Create boutonnieres and corsages
- Produce centerpieces and other wedding arrangements
- Follow supplied floral recipes, inspiration images, and established design direction
- Work efficiently while maintaining consistent design quality
- Pack finished designs carefully for transportation
- Assist with additional floral-production tasks as needed
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workspace
This is an in-studio production role and does not include client communication, proposal development, pricing, or independent creative direction.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
Applicants must:
- Have professional floral design experience, specifically with weddings or events
- Be confident independently creating bouquets, boutonnieres, corsages, and centerpieces
- Understand proper floral mechanics, processing, and care techniques
- Be able to follow established recipes and reference images accurately
- Work quickly and consistently in a busy production environment
- Have reliable transportation to Waterford, Connecticut
- Be available for all required dates listed below

October 15 and 16
October 22 and 23
Hours will vary depending on the event schedule. This is a seasonal, part-time position and does not provide guaranteed weekly hours.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
This position involves extended periods of standing, repetitive handwork, lifting floral buckets and boxes, and working in a busy production environment.

Pay: $20–$25 per hour, based on demonstrated wedding floral experience
