EGP & Company is an established, fast growing CPA firm located in Marlborough, MA offering a unique opportunity to grow with our firm. We specialize in tax planning and compliance for a wide range of clients including high net worth individuals, business executives, family offices, closely held businesses, private equity and commercial real estate.
We are seeking a tax professional with 3-5 years of experience in the preparation and review of individual, fiduciary, and various business entity tax returns. Responsibilities will include managing client relationships; preparation of challenging business returns, including multi-state and international compliance; collaborating with Partners on special projects and advisory work; and researching complex tax issues. Seeking a motivated individual who will ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations. While also supporting and mentoring junior staff through coaching and training.

While we are committed to providing flexibility, the role does require a regular in‑office presence to support effective collaboration and client service.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field
- 3–5 years of public accounting tax experience with a primary focus on tax compliance
- CPA license or active pursuit
- Prepare complex corporate, individual, fiduciary, and partnership tax returns
- Previous tax review experience a must. Ability to review simple corporate, individual, fiduciary, and partnership tax returns
- Review staff work and provide timely and specific feedback
- Strong technical tax knowledge across entity types
- Additional focus on preparation of business returns with experience in accounting for adjusting tax and journal entries
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and client‑service mindset
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple engagements, with the ability to delegate work
- Experience with CCH Axcess (or similar tax software program) is a plus

Pay: $80,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
