American Traveler seeks a Radiation Therapist with VA or Compact license, ARRT (T), and 2+ years of experience for a hospital Radiation Oncology department operating Varian TrueBeam Linear Accelerators.

Work in a hospital Radiation Oncology department

Adult and geriatric patient population
-
Daily caseload of 30–40 patients

Administer treatments on Varian TrueBeam Linear Accelerators

Uses ARIA for electronic medical records; Epic experience preferred
-
Monday–Friday day shift, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM (5x8s)

13-week contract with potential to extend

Active VA or Compact Radiation Therapist license required at time of consideration; license required if applicable

Current BLS and ARRT (T) certifications required
-
Minimum 2 years of radiation therapy experience
-
Proficiency in CBCT, kV, and mV imaging
-
Experience with IMRT and Electron Beam Therapy dosimetry systems
-
Experience with specialty treatments including Electron Field, Respiratory Gating/Breath Hold for Left Breast, Heterotopic Bone, Superior Vena Cava, Gynecomastia, and Prophylactic Treatments

Experience with specialty conditions including Keloids and Prostate Cancer with Seeds/Fiducials
-
Hands-on experience with Varian TrueBeam Linear Accelerator

Experience with ARIA documentation system; Epic experience preferred

Open to first-time travelers with appropriate qualifications
-
Any scrub color is acceptable

Flu vaccine required during flu season (Oct 1–Mar 31); religious or medical exemptions must comply with CMS guidelines
