American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Interventional Radiology position at a Level III Trauma Center and teaching hospital, requiring a minimum of 2 years of IR experience and active Epic proficiency.

Short-term acute care hospital setting, Level III Trauma Center and teaching hospital with 733 staffed beds
-
Assignment in the Interventional Radiology / Special Procedures unit

Day shift schedule: 4x10-hour shifts, 7:00 AM–5:00 PM
-
Every other weekend required

On-call responsibilities included; call shifts are required

Floating within scope or to like units may be required to meet facility needs

Charting via Epic (experience required)

Scrubs are provided by the facility

Active NC or Compact RN license currently in hand — pending licensure not accepted

Minimum 2 years of Interventional Radiology experience required

Epic EMR proficiency required

SSN and date of birth required for consideration

First-time travelers are welcome to apply

Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the main campus to be eligible — local candidates are not accepted

Candidates who have previously worked at this facility must have been away for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler

Travelers may extend their contract once; after that, a 6-month gap is required before returning

Pre-start orientation modules are required (approximately 4–10 hours)

RTO is subject to manager's discretion, with a general maximum of 4 days per assignment

Only 1 holiday off can be approved per assignment

Any called-out shifts may be required to be made up at the department's discretion

All time-off requests must be submitted at the time of application
