Please note this position supports our Weekend Night Shift which operates on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays from 3:00PM until 3:00AM. Your work week will be 36 hours long however you’ll be paid for 40 hours and earn an additional 15% pay premium.
Because of the need for consistent, in-person collaboration and/or the requirement to perform all work onsite due to the nature of this particular role, it will be performed entirely onsite. This means that work will be conducted on location at a BAE Systems facility 100% of the time.

Working in the Manual Cell, using various liquid and sheet epoxies to lay the foundation of every microelectronic module in the TACAIR Microwave Factory on a variety of products including 56C and EPAWSS.
As a Microwave Technician on 8th Shift (weekend nights) you will make impacts in the following ways:
Fabricate/ modify complex micro-integrated circuit modules or microwave/ RF integrated circuit modules and subassemblies by following specific instructions to utilize various equipment such as manual and automatic bonding machines, and MRSI microwave component automatic pick and place machines.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
- High School Diploma or GED. 1 year of work experience or equivalent experience in lieu of a High School Diploma or GED.
- Ability to work under a microscope for extended periods of time.
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
- Experience with lamination process, bladder bag ovens and sheet epoxies (mainly with the focus of attaching substrates to modules/housings). Familiar with working with a wide variety of adhesives and epoxies.
- Able to work with a microscope for and entire shift.
- Familiar with MIL-STD-883
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $41844 - $66952

However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
