Under the supervision of the Director of Food and Nutrition and the Registered Dietician and Dietary Supervisor the Dietary Aide is responsible for the preparation of hot foods for patients (as ordered by physician), employees, and visitors as well as assist with catered events. Responsible for maintaining high standards for food preparation, sanitation, and general kitchen management while exercising good judgement and initiative in preparing food. Will also help in the preparation of patient trays, cleaning of the department, temperature checks, and lunch service to the public.
