Position Summary
Evolve, Inc. is seeking motivated, dependable, and hardworking Lawn & Landscape Laborers to assist with both landscape installation and lawn maintenance projects for residential and commercial properties. This position involves hands-on outdoor work including mowing, trimming, edging, planting, mulching, sod installation, pruning, landscape enhancements, and general grounds maintenance.
Lawn & Landscape Laborers work closely with Crew Leaders and Foremen to ensure all properties and projects are completed safely, efficiently, and according to company quality standards. Key Responsibilities
- Drive company trucks safely to and from job sites
- Assist with loading/unloading materials and equipment
- Prepare work trucks daily with crew and ensure proper organization
- Report on vehicle or equipment issues immediately
- Perform routine lawn maintenance including mowing, trimming, edging, blowing, and weed removal.
- Assist with landscape installation projects including planting trees, shrubs, flowers, sod installation, and mulching.
- Perform landscape maintenance including pruning, trimming, bed maintenance, and seasonal cleanups.
- Prune shrubs and low-growing trees and remove damaged or dead branches as needed.
- Operate and maintain lawn and landscape equipment including mowers, trimmers, blowers, hedge trimmers, wheelbarrows, shovels, and other tools safely and efficiently.
- Assist with loading, unloading, and transporting materials, tools, and equipment.
- Prepare work trucks daily with crew members.
- Remove debris and maintain clean, organized job sites, vehicles, and equipment.
- Maintain flower beds and landscape areas by removing weeds and debris.
- Follow daily schedules, project plans, and instructions from Crew Leaders and Foremen.
- Inspect completed work before leaving each property to ensure quality standards are met.
- Report equipment issues, property damage, safety hazards, or job site concerns to supervisors immediately.
- Work efficiently in various weather conditions while maintaining quality workmanship and productivity.
- Assist with special projects, seasonal work, and other duties as assigned.

Preferred Qualifications
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required.
- Basic irrigation system knowledge.
- Willingness to learn and grow within the company.
Requirements
- Previous experience in lawn maintenance, landscaping, landscape installation, or groundskeeping.
- Must be at least 18 years old and legally authorized to work in the United States.
- Ability to commute daily to and from Bartow, FL.
- Reliable transportation.
- Ability to pass a drug test.
- Willingness to work outdoors in Florida's varying weather conditions.
- Ability to perform physical labor for extended periods.
- Ability to work in a high-stress environment while maintaining professionalism and productivity.
- Strong work ethic and strong attention to details

- No serious driving violations
Working Conditions
- Outdoor field work in a variety of weather conditions.
- Regular exposure to lawn and landscape equipment, dust, soil, mulch, debris, and noise.
- Frequent lifting, bending, walking, kneeling, and standing.
- Physical labor required throughout the workday.
- Must follow all company safety policies and OSHA guidelines.
- Must wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
- Expected to promote a culture of safety, teamwork, professionalism, and respect on every job site.
