We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Store Manager to lead our retail team. Duties
- Manage daily store operations to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
- Lead, motivate, and develop a team of employees, including training development for new hires.
- Conduct interviews and assist in the hiring process for new staff members.
- Oversee cash handling procedures, including cash register operations and reconciliation.
- Implement retail sales strategies to achieve store targets and maximize profitability.
- Utilize retail math to analyze sales data and inventory levels for informed decision-making.
- Negotiate with vendors to secure favorable terms and maintain stock levels.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures while maintaining a safe shopping environment.
- Foster a positive team culture that encourages collaboration and high performance.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Store Manager or in a similar role within the retail industry.
- Strong background in retail sales with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
- Excellent team management skills with the ability to inspire and lead others.
- Proficiency in cash handling procedures and experience with cash register systems.
- Familiarity with training development processes for staff members.
- Strong negotiation skills to effectively manage vendor relationships.
- Ability to perform basic retail math calculations accurately.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
