Responsibilities
- Support the Lead Teacher with daily classroom activities.
- Help create a warm, safe, and engaging learning environment.
- Supervise children during play, meals, and transitions.
- Assist with diapering, toileting, feeding, and classroom routines.
- Prepare learning materials and maintain classroom organization.
- Build caring relationships with children and families.
- Follow all NYC Department of Health health and safety regulations.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- CDA or Early Childhood coursework preferred but not required.
- College students majoring in Early Childhood Education are encouraged to apply.
- Previous childcare experience is a plus.
- Reliable, patient, energetic, and passionate about working with children.
- Must complete all required background clearances.
