Job Summary
Overview
Voyager Home Healthcare (https://voyagerhomehealthcare.com/) provides Parent CNA, Certified Nursing Assistant, and Personal Care Worker services throughout the state of Colorado. Additionally, we have four CNA schools (https://www.getcna.co/) which are unique in that they allow students to take their classes in an online format while enabling them to attend in-person clinical and practice labs.
Program Overview:
Candidates hired for this position will work on the administrative side of our IHSS program. IHSS is a Colorado Medicaid program in which a parent, family member, or loved one can be reimbursed to care for their loved one with disabilities or severe conditions.
Duties
- Maintains a high volume of inbound and outbound calls, texts, and emails
- Provide excellent customer service
- Maintain excellent and detailed records
- Receive patient referrals and coordinate with clinical staff
- Conduct phone assessments for incoming clients
- Work closely with Billing and Payroll to ensure accuracy
- Adapts quickly to a changing work environment
- Is reliable, engaged, and provides feedback to improve processes and policies
- Tracking patient insurance eligibility
- Participate in an on-call rotation
- Go into client homes as needed
Hours
Monday-Friday 8am-430pm with a 30 minute lunch break
Training
Training for this position will take place at our Colorado Springs office. Due to the distance, the training period is four, ten-hour days as opposed to a regular five day work week. These modified hours are only during the training period which will be a total of 8 work days. The training workday will be Monday-Thursday, 9am-3:30pm (and paid for a one hour drive each way). Voyager has company vehicles that employees will be able to use once the training period is complete but we don’t add employees to our insurance until they make it through the training period so you will have to drive your personal vehicle down to Colorado Springs.
Pay: From $27.00 per hour
