The Role:
We are seeking a reliable Assistant Service & Repair Technician to support our team with completion of practical and hands on tasks!
You will be responsible for a variety of tasks as directed by our Service and Repair Technician, which includes, diagnosing, repairing, general care and maintenance of our buggies. Additionally you may be required to assist with other areas of our warehouse responsibilities, including picking/packing orders, shipping/receiving, maintaining an organized and safe work environment as required.
Basic hand tool use is required for the disassembly of buggies for spare parts and a mechanical mindset will serve you well in this position. This role will be physically demanding, hands on work, on your feet for the most of the day, lifting products that weigh up to 25-30kg and out in a warehouse environment.
We require a self-motivated team player who demonstrates initiative and is comfortable following process and procedures. An adaptable and flexible outlook towards work is essential.
We are a small (but mighty!) team, and require everyone to roll up their sleeves and pitch in. It is coming into our busy season, and we need a reliable and dependable team player, who knows how to achieve results and contribute to a positive work environment.
Key Skills and Attributes
- Mechanical aptitude, and/or previous experience in a mechanical or technical role is preferred.
- Comfortable using basic hand tools for repair.
- Problem solving capabilities for troubleshooting and diagnosing.
- Previous experience providing warehouse support and understanding of health and safety procedures.
- Attention to detail, accuracy, and reconciliation skills
- Basic administration skills, and proficiency with computers and technology, for completion of paperwork and communications
- Ability to learn quickly, adaptable and can follow instructions
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Punctuality, reliability, and trustworthiness
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Independent working skills as well being a team player
- A can-do attitude to work related tasks
- Dedicated focus to getting tasks done.
This is a permanent, full-time opportunity to join our team. Working onsite, Monday to Friday 8:30am-5:00pm, with no weekend work as standard (unless in consultation during the busy season or key projects).
