Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Nursery Teacher to inspire and nurture the youngest learners in our early childhood education program. As a Nursery Teacher, you will create a vibrant, safe, and engaging classroom environment that fosters curiosity, social-emotional development, and foundational skills. Responsibilities
- Develop and implement dynamic curriculum plans that promote literacy education, math skills, physical education, and social-emotional learning tailored to preschool-aged children
- Create a nurturing classroom environment that encourages exploration, creativity, and positive behavior management
- Engage children in age-appropriate activities that support childhood development milestones and early intervention strategies
- Monitor and assess individual student progress through observations, standardized testing, and formative assessments to inform instruction
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and specialists to support children with special education needs and ensure child welfare
- Manage classroom routines efficiently, including lesson planning, transitions, and maintaining a safe daycare setting
- Incorporate Montessori methods or other educational philosophies to enhance learning experiences
Experience
- Prior classroom experience working with preschool or toddler-aged children in early childhood education settings or daycare environments
- Demonstrated knowledge of curriculum development, lesson planning, and classroom management techniques
- Experience with special education practices and early intervention programs is highly desirable
- Familiarity with standardized testing procedures and tutoring methods for young learners
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with parents, colleagues, and students
- Previous private school or preschool experience is advantageous but not required
- Certification or training in childhood development, behavior management, or Montessori education is preferred

Pay: $11.00 - $13.00 per hour
