Job Summary
MK3 Automotive in Denham Springs, LA is seeking a skilled Bodyman / Painter to join our team on an as-needed basis. This position is ideal for an experienced technician with their own tools who is looking for flexible work and strong earning potential.
You will be responsible for performing high-quality collision repair and refinishing work. Compensation is based on completed labor hours, with rates ranging from $27 to $30 per hour depending on experience and efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Perform collision repair and bodywork on vehicles
- Conduct prep work and automotive refinishing/painting
- Ensure high-quality craftsmanship and attention to detail
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Use own tools and equipment to complete assigned jobs
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Auto Body Technician / Painter
- Must have own tools and basic equipment
- ASE or I-CAR certification preferred
- Ability to work independently and efficiently
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Reliable transportation and availability for as-needed work
