This position is responsible for directing a highly complex management services program for a minimum-security institution operated by the State of Wisconsin as comptroller for the Chippewa Valley Correctional Treatment Facility (CVCTF) employing unit. Responsibilities involve supervising assigned staff and administering all phases of institutional management service programs including accounting, fiscal control, budget preparation and development, purchasing, food service, information technology, communications, warehouse, canteen, housekeeping, laundry, vehicle maintenance, building & grounds development, building projects, fleet, maintenance and repair. Developing and coordinating institution management services policies and programs with other programs within the institution and division, as well as with the general programs and policies of the department are required. Participation in policy development on an institution-wide, division-wide, and department-wide basis is part of the responsibility of this position. The span of control for this position covers the entire institution (minimum security correctional institution for adult males).
