Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Cleaning Team Lead to oversee daily cleaning operations across various facilities. This role is essential in ensuring that all spaces meet the highest standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and safety. Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate cleaning staff to ensure timely and thorough completion of daily cleaning tasks across all designated areas
- Lead by example in performing industrial, commercial, and custodial cleaning duties, including sanitation and laundry services when needed
- Train new team members on proper cleaning techniques, safety regulations, and sanitation standards to maintain high-quality service
- Monitor compliance with health and safety regulations, ensuring all team members follow established protocols for sanitation and safety
- Conduct regular inspections of work areas to verify cleanliness standards are met or exceeded
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring proper usage and timely replenishment
- Foster effective communication within the team, providing feedback, support, and motivation to enhance performance and teamwork
Experience
- Proven experience in custodial or janitorial roles with a strong background in industrial or commercial cleaning environments
- Prior supervisory or team management experience within a cleaning or hospitality setting is highly preferred
- Familiarity with sanitation procedures, safety regulations, and cleaning & sanitation management practices
- Hands-on experience with laundry services or hotel housekeeping management is advantageous
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate staff, manage schedules, and communicate effectively with team members and clients
- Knowledge of management principles related to team supervision and customer service excellence
- Experience working in hospitality or healthcare environments is a plus
