Cornerstone Learning Hub is seeking a caring, dependable, and energetic Part-Time Preschool Assistant Teacher to support our preschool program. The Assistant Teacher works under the direction of the Preschool Lead Teacher to help provide a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment where young children can learn, play, and grow.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Preschool Lead Teacher with daily classroom activities and routines.
- Supervise and engage with children during indoor and outdoor play.
- Support children with transitions, meals, restroom routines, and other daily needs.
- Encourage positive social interactions and model respectful behavior.
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom environment.
- Prepare and clean up materials, activities, snacks, and classroom spaces.
- Assist with classroom management and ensure student safety at all times.
- Build positive relationships with children, families, and staff.
- Follow all Cornerstone Learning Hub policies, procedures, and licensing requirements.
- Attend staff meetings and trainings as requested.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience working with young children preferred but not required.
- CDA or early childhood coursework is a plus.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and actively participate in classroom activities.
- Must meet all required background check and licensing requirements.

Employment is contingent upon enrollment needs, staffing ratios, and successful completion of all required onboarding requirements.

Pay: $10.00 - $11.00 per hour
