We are seeking an experienced and results-oriented Sales Team Manager to lead our Sales and Customer Service teams. This leadership role is responsible for driving team performance, enhancing operational efficiency, and supporting revenue growth while ensuring an exceptional client experience.
The ideal candidate is a strong leader with a proven ability to coach and develop team members, manage performance metrics, resolve escalated client concerns, and identify opportunities for process improvement. Key ResponsibilitiesTeam Leadership & Performance Management
- Lead, mentor, and develop members of the Sales and Customer Service teams.
- Establish performance expectations and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Provide ongoing coaching, training, and constructive feedback to promote employee growth and accountability.
- Foster a positive, collaborative, and results-driven work environment.
Collections & Revenue Generation
- Oversee outbound follow-up efforts to convert prospective clients and secure payments.
- Assist with high-value or escalated collection opportunities when necessary.
- Ensure all payment processing activities are completed accurately and in compliance with company procedures.
- Support initiatives that contribute to revenue growth and client retention.
Client Experience & Escalation Management
- Serve as a senior point of contact for client concerns and escalated matters.
- Ensure consistent delivery of professional, responsive, and high-quality customer service.
- Resolve complex client issues efficiently and appropriately escalate matters when needed.
Onboarding & Intake Oversight
- Manage and improve client onboarding processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Oversee the intake of citation and case-related information.
- Support inbound client communications and team coverage as operational needs require.
Process Improvement & Reporting
- Analyze team performance, call activity, conversion rates, and revenue metrics.
- Identify operational trends and implement process improvements to increase effectiveness.
- Prepare and present reports on team performance, client engagement, and revenue outcomes.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Legal teams to support organizational objectives.
- Align client service initiatives with broader business goals and strategic priorities.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of operational best practices.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience in a managerial, supervisory, or team leadership role.
- One to two years of experience in collections, sales, customer service, or payment processing.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Professional and confident telephone presence.
- Exceptional customer service and relationship-building abilities.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Excellent attention to detail and documentation practices.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on leadership responsibilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
- Ability to handle sensitive client and financial information with professionalism and discretion.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in a law firm, call center, or administrative office environment.
- Familiarity with the transportation or trucking industry.
- Experience using HubSpot or similar customer relationship management platforms.
- Bilingual communication skills.
Compensation
Position Type: Full-Time, Exempt
Salary: Starting at $50,000 annually
