Responsibilities
- Respond promptly to water damage and disaster calls, assessing the scope of work on-site.
- Remove standing water using pumps, wet vacuums, and other water extraction equipment.
- Perform thorough cleaning and drying of affected areas, including carpets, flooring, walls, and structures.
- Conduct mold remediation procedures to eliminate mold growth safely and effectively.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools for demolition, removal of damaged materials, and site preparation.
- Support construction activities related to restoration projects such as minor repairs or site prep
- Follow safety protocols diligently during all mitigation activities to ensure a secure work environment.
Skills
- Prior experience in the restoration industry or related fields such as construction or cleaning is highly preferred
- Knowledge of water damage restoration processes and techniques is a strong advantage. WRT Certification is a PLUS
- Excellent attention to detail with a focus on safety standards during all mitigation activities.
- Familiarity with mold remediation practices and procedures is desirable
- Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, carpet cleaning equipment, and other restoration-related tools is beneficial
- Ability to follow safety protocols diligently while working with hazardous materials or in potentially dangerous environments
- A valid driver's license and reliable transportation is required.

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30.0 – 50.0 per week
