Job Duties:
- Utilize Mastercam for programming purposes
- Operate various CNC lathe machines with live tooling, set-up, and machine parts based on customer specifications
- Ensure all parts meet customer requirements
- Check machine settings and first-run parts to verify accuracy
- Inspect machined parts to ensure they align with blueprint specifications
- Adjust machine settings as needed to maintain tolerances
- Record activities in production and quality logs
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Follow all company processes, procedures, and safety guidelines
- Complete any additional tasks as assigned
Requirements:
Minimum of 10 years of experience in programming, set-up, and operation of CNC Lathe machines
- Proficiency in Mastercam programming
- Ability to use measuring tools such as gauges, micrometers, and calipers
- Experience in set-up and making edits
- Strong skills in reading and interpreting blueprints
- Understanding of CNC programming for part verification
- Capable of working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with minimal supervision
