Our company seeks a trustworthy CDL driver to transport material from our supply yards to job sites, homeowners, and vendor distribution centers.

Do you have general construction knowledge? Have you previously held a role in general construction, landscape installation, excavation work, a greenhouse, or nursery?
WHAT IS WAITING FOR YOU?
Work with supply yard office staff to plan routes and meet delivery schedules
Collect and verify delivery instructions
Inspect tickets to ensure material is accurately loaded, without defects and meets client or job site requirements
Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions, verifying client or jobsite drop instructions
When necessary, engage with homeowners or jobsites in a professional and polite manner to ensure materials are accurately and satisfactorily delivered/un-loaded
Report any homeowner or site concerns to supply store office staff, report material defects, accidents, or potential hazards
Navigate various routes in a timely manner to efficiently fulfill daily delivery schedules
Safely load and unload materials, follow company safety protocols and best practices
Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and log preventative maintenance items
Retain fuel/toll receipts along with customer delivery tickets
Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking, and break periods) as well as with company best practices
FLAT BED truck driving, dump truck driving, tri-axle truck driving, Moffett experience a plus.
QUALIFICATIONS
VALID CLASS A OR CLASS B COMMERCIAL LICENSE
- Clean driving record and insurable.
- Strong work ethic, team player, levelheaded, detail oriented, safety conscientious, courteous, punctual, and professional.
- No major violations in the last 3 years.
- CURRENT DOT PHYSICAL EXAMINATION (MEDICAL CARD)
- Experience with driving rollbacks, hooklift truck, hydroseeder, dump truck, lift gates and electric pallet jacks (Moffett) (Preferred – not required) We are willing to train the right individuals!

Pay Range: $23.00 - $30.00/ per hour, (with incentives and ability to grow based on performance) with opportunity to work overtime for all full-time positions. Seasonal overtime is mandatory for full-time positions. Flexible hours and positions for part-time positions. Schedules are made in advance, and we are willing to accommodate part-time flexible schedules. Full-time positions eligible for benefits (subject to standard waiting periods).
This position is based out of Harford County, Maryland just over the Baltimore County/Harford County line. The home reporting base is from our Landscape Supply Yard located at 2708 Bel Air Road, Fallston, MD 21047. This CDL Truck Driver position is for local territories and routes and does not require overnight work. This position additionally guarantees minimum full-time hours and does not reduce full-time drivers’ hours or hire temp/seasonal drivers- for all full-time positions. Our supply store is open (7) days per week from 7:00 AM – 5:00 pm, full-time positions can expect to work a schedule of a minimum of five days per week with rotational Saturdays mandatory with a start time of 7:00 AM – to 5:00PM.
Part-time positions are flexible, and we are willing to accommodate talented individuals, typically are 1-3 shifts per week from 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM. To be considered for part-time MUST have a minimum of 2 weekdays available to work
Pay: $23.00 - $30.00 per hour
