Friends of Willow Tree is seeking Teaching Assistants (Learning Coaches) for the 2026-2027 academic year.
Friends of Willow Tree is an enrichment center that offers a curriculum inspired by Waldorf methods to students in grades Kindergarten through 8th.

Our community will welcome you to our friendly village in North County San Diego. Our program serves a diverse population that might not otherwise have access to a curriculum inspired by Waldorf methods.
JOB DESCRIPTION
We are seeking an individual who possesses high expectations, a strong sense of personal accountability, a strong “teacherly” presence, a positive attitude, and excellent communication skills.
As an enrichment program, we work with families who are homeschooling and are either enrolled with an independent study charter or have filed their own Private School Affidavit (PSA).
We look to our teaching assistants (Learning Coaches) to support our children individually or in small groups and help monitor children when they are outside at recess.
COMPENSATION and PERKS
~ Competitive hourly wage ranging from $18-20/hour
~ Students only attend Monday - Thursday

QUALIFICATIONS
~ Bachelor’s Degree
~ CPR certified
