Immediate Opening for an Experienced Concrete Finisher
Pay: $22-25/hr. based on experience.
We are seeking a highly skilled Concrete Finisher who is capable of independently reading plans, forming, pouring, and finishing concrete on a variety of construction and paving projects. The successful candidate will join our team of professionals working on diverse tasks in a dynamic, safety-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities (Essential Duties and Functions)
Independently form, pour, and finish concrete to grade, delivering a fine finish on all types of concrete work.
Utilize equipment such as floats, trowels, screeds, templates, hand shovels, motorized tamps, push brooms, and straight edges (up to fifteen feet long) confidently and safely.
Perform physical motions including stretching, stooping, bending, squatting, lifting, pushing, pulling, twisting, kneeling, throwing, walking, hammering, standing, reaching, and rubbing as required by the job.
Lift, carry, and hold materials, tools, and supplies, sometimes in excess of 100 pounds with assistance.
Demonstrated experience in reading plans, and independently forming, pouring, and finishing concrete for construction projects.
Compliance with all OSHA and/or MSHA regulations, including the use of required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as Face Shield, Safety (hard toe) Shoes, and Safety Vest.

Frequently required to climb, balance, and perform tasks involving physical agility.

Regularly sit, climb, and use hand signals or equipment; occasionally stand, walk, crawl, kneel, bend, stoop, crouch, or reach above shoulder height.

Lift and move objects weighing up to 25-50 lbs as needed.

Work primarily outdoors, often in extreme weather and environmental conditions.

Comfortable working in all weather conditions; exposed to jobsite hazards such as moving machinery, high places, airborne particles, and loud environments.

Must have specific vision abilities, including close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth perception, to operate equipment safely.
