As a Counter Server at Bentoville, you’ll demonstrate professionalism and enthusiasm to complement our stage chefs’ culinary expertise. You’ll know the menu inside out, use intuition to guide your decision-making, and move with intention. Counter service at Bentoville will be intimate: guests are close, pacing matters, and your energy will set the tone. Food knowledge is required; excellent hospitality is non-negotiable. Skills and Responsibilities
- Greet guests promptly with a friendly, positive attitude and provide attentive table service throughout their dining experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using our POS system, ensuring all special requests and allergies are noted and communicated clearly to the kitchen and bar staff
- Upsell beverage menu items and promote drink specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation, sanitation, and food safety
- Manage guest relations by addressing questions, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring overall guest comfort and satisfaction
- Handle all transactions accurately using POS systems, processing payments, and providing correct receipts
- Assist with food handling, kitchen prep support, bussing tables, and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas to uphold sanitation standards
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially in fine dining or nightclub settings
- Strong knowledge of systems such as Toast POS, Tock, and Resy
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally
- Demonstrated ability in upselling menu items to maximize sales opportunities
- Ability to manage time effectively while maintaining close attention to detail
- Experience with food preparation, sanitation practices, and kitchen support is desired
- Basic bartending skills are a plus, above basic skills are a huge bonus

Pay: $21.00 - $40.00 per hour
