Apartment Maintenance Technician
Apartment community in the Bedford, Indiana area, Ridgewood Apartments is seeking a qualified Full Time Maintenance Technician at our 98 unit Garden style community. Position is full time and is a working & hands on position as well as requires strong leadership, organization and communication skills. On call is sometimes required for this position for maintenance emergencies in the community.
Qualified applicants must have extensive knowledge and practical experience in plumbing, electrical, general carpentry, routine HVAC and preventative building maintenance repairs and Apartment turnover timelines.
Qualified applicants should also have experience in coordinating the daily functions, schedules, goals and maintenance work flow of a typical mid-size residential apartment community. Candidate should be able to work in tight timelines as well as play a proactive role in project planning and prioritization of all maintenance related activity in a multi unit apartment environment

Must have:
- Must pass a criminal and personal background check as well as take and pass a drug test prior to the start of employment.
- High School Diploma required
- Reliable transportation with a valid driver’s license
- Must have own hand and service tools
- Must be willing to work Monday-Friday, some weekends are required.
- Must have Hands on experience in Apartment Maintenance
Salary is negotiable and commensurate with past experiences and references

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
