Part-Time LVN Position – Creekside Recovery, Orinda, CA
At Creekside Recovery, we’re looking for a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our team on a part-time basis, working two days a week and per diem. We are a fully licensed, 6-bed residential treatment center located in Orinda, specializing in substance use recovery.
Position Overview
As an LVN at Creekside, you’ll play a vital role in supporting clients through one of the most important transitions of their lives, recovery from drug and alcohol dependence. You'll work under the supervision of a physician and be responsible for delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in accordance with state regulations and our internal policies.
Responsibilities
- Perform rounds on patients
- Observe patient's medications
- Monitor and document vital signs (blood pressure, pulse, respirations, temperature)
- Record and update patient histories
- Monitor patient responses to medications and treatments using our EMR system, KIPU (including COWS/CIWA assessments)
- Maintain accurate shift reports and collaborate with the care team
Requirements
- Current and valid LVN license in the state of California
- Minimum 1 year of nursing experience preferred
- Prior experience in substance use treatment or detox setting is a plus
- Certified in Basic Life Support (BLS) and First Aid
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work well with clients and staff
- Proof of negative TB test
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
Job Details

- Friday & Saturday, 10 PM- 6 AM/Per Diem
- Compensation: $37.00 – $40.00 per hour
- Setting: Residential rehab facility
- Uniform: Self-provided scrubs
- Work Location: On-site, Orinda
