Responsibilities
- Provide attentive pet handling, ensuring animals are comfortable, safe, and properly restrained during their stay.
- Maintain cleanliness of kennels, cages, and common areas through regular sanitization and grooming to promote a healthy environment.
- Assist with pet feeding, administering medications if necessary, and monitoring animal behavior for signs of stress or illness.
- Support pet boarding operations by coordinating pet drop-offs and pick-ups with pet owners while delivering excellent customer service.
- Engage in outdoor work to clean outdoor enclosures, walk dogs, and ensure outdoor areas are secure and well-maintained.
- Handle animal restraint safely during cleaning, feeding, or veterinary procedures while demonstrating animal behavior knowledge.
- Participate in team lifting activities to move large or heavy items such as supplies or equipment safely.
Qualifications
- Experience with pet sitting, dog training, or animal handling enhances your ability to excel in this role.
- Knowledge of kennel operations, animal care procedures, and pet grooming techniques is preferred.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and outdoor work comfortably while maintaining attention to safety protocols.
- A genuine passion for animals combined with a proactive attitude toward cleaning, sanitization, and animal behavior management is essential.
Pay: $15.00 - $25.00 per hour
