Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Tree Crew Forman to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for tree care and maintenance, with experience in climbing and operating equipment necessary for tree trimming and maintenance. This role requires a strong understanding of tree health, safety practices, and the ability to work in various outdoor conditions.
Responsibilities
- Perform tree trimming and pruning to maintain the health and aesthetics of trees.
- Operate climbing rigs and bucket trucks safely to access high branches.
- Conduct thorough assessments of trees for health, disease, and safety hazards.
- Implement proper tree care techniques including fertilization, pest management, and disease control.
- Maintain landscape areas around trees, ensuring cleanliness and aesthetic appeal.
- Utilize GIS technology for mapping and managing tree inventory as needed.
- Follow all safety protocols while working at heights and operating equipment.
Requirements
- 2 Years Proven experience in tree care, and hazard tree removal
- Familiarity with tree trimming techniques and equipment operation (bucket trucks, climbing gear).
- Knowledge of plant biology and horticulture practices related to tree growth and health.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions for extended periods.
- Strong physical fitness and stamina to perform demanding tasks at heights.
- Excellent communication skills for effective teamwork and client interaction.
- Certification in arboriculture or related fields is a plus but not required.

Pay: $40.00 - $50.00 per hour
