We are seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team at Santa Fe Post Acute in Vista, California. The ideal candidate should have experience in various healthcare settings and possess a strong understanding of medical documentation and patient care.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Monitor and record vital signs
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients
- Assist in the transfer of patients
- Follow aseptic techniques to prevent infection
- Collaborate with nurses and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care
EXPERIENCE:
The ideal candidate will have experience in the following areas:
- Home care
- Memory care
- Phlebotomy skills
- Experience with seniors, elderly patients and residents
- Acute care settings
- Nursing background is a plus
- Proficiency in medical documentation
- Dementia care experience
