The Mobile Donor Care Specialist is responsible for donor registration, screening, and blood collection at community blood drives, while ensuring compliance with all federal guidelines and internal quality standards. This position also assists with the transportation, setup, and teardown of equipment at various mobile sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Register donors and accurately enter information into the computer system
- Conduct donor screenings and perform blood collection procedures following established protocols
- Deliver excellent donor care and provide follow‑up assistance when reactions occur
- Transport equipment and supplies to and from blood drive locations
- Set up and dismantle all equipment required for mobile operations
- Serve as a transport driver as assigned
- Float to fixed-site operations as needed
- Review donor histories in alignment with completed training and competency levels
Schedule & Work Environment
- Full-time or part-time positions available
- Primarily Monday–Friday, with rotating weekend/holiday assignments
- Variable start times between 5:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m.
- Typically scheduled for 8-hour shifts
- Work performed at various community locations throughout the region
Qualifications
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills

- Valid driver’s license required
- No prior experience necessary — comprehensive training provided

Practical Requirements for this job:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Computer Skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills are necessary.
- Requires valid driver’s license and possible use of own vehicle
- CPR certification required (we'll pay!)
- Able to lift 50 lbs. (occasionally)
