The Production Supervisor is responsible for leading, coaching, and developing Team Members while fostering a self-directed, accountable, and empowered workforce. This position oversees daily production activities to ensure safety, food quality, productivity, and customer expectations are consistently met.
Typical work hours are Monday through Friday, approximately 2:00pm-12:00am or until production is completed. Occasional weekend work may be required to meet production schedules and customer demand.

Primary Responsibilities

Coach and hold Team Members accountable to the Company’s Basic Expectations of Team Members.

Lead and support continuous improvement efforts throughout daily operations. Monitor breaks, changeovers, downtime, workflow, and other production activities to identify opportunities for improvement.

Establish and monitor key performance metrics. Work with the team to set goals, measure progress, communicate results, and maintain accountability.

Develop Team Members’ technical and leadership skills through coaching, cross-training, and ongoing feedback to create depth and flexibility in all positions.

Consistently apply policies and procedures outlined in the Team Member Handbook, including appropriate coaching and corrective action when necessary.

Coordinate production activities and communicate effectively with other shifts, Production leadership, Sanitation, Quality, Maintenance, and other supporting departments.

Maintain a safe and organized work environment and ensure all Team Members follow established safety procedures.

Oversee product quality and food safety throughout the production process to ensure finished products meet company standards and customer expectations.

Follow up on assigned tasks, employee concerns, production issues, and improvement opportunities in an attentive and timely manner.

A minimum of one year of experience as a Production Supervisor, Assistant Supervisor, Team Lead, or similar leadership role in a manufacturing or production environment.

Demonstrated experience improving operational efficiency, productivity, changeovers, downtime, or labor performance.

Ability to lead, coach, motivate, and hold Team Members accountable while maintaining a positive and professional work environment.

Ability to manage multiple priorities and consistently produce safe, high-quality products within established timeframes.

Knowledge of HACCP, SQF, Good Manufacturing Practices, or similar food safety and quality programs.

Experience in food manufacturing or the pizza industry is preferred.

Ability and willingness to learn and follow applicable USDA, FDA, OSHA, and company requirements.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Strong follow-through, problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational skills.

Ability to respond to Team Members, production concerns, and operational needs in a timely and professional manner.
Additional Qualifications:
1.Demonstrates a collaborative and cooperative work style with a positive, solutions-focused attitude.
2. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify practical solutions and overcome operational challenges.
3. Experience using Redzone production software is preferred but not required.
Physical Requirements:

Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and perform physical tasks as needed.

Ability to stand and walk for approximately 8 to 10 hours per shift.

Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials, with requirements varying by task and production area.

Strong hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.

Ability to climb stairs and occasionally use a ladder.

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Dress Code and Personal Protective Equipment
Employees must follow all company dress code, hygiene, and personal protective equipment requirements. Depending on the production area, required items may include hairnets, beard nets, gloves, and company-approved uniform shirts.

Attendance and Reliability
Regular and reliable attendance is an essential requirement of this position. The Production Supervisor must be available to support scheduled production hours and occasional weekend production needs.
