Position Summary
The Aesthetician is a key provider of skincare services, delivering personalized treatments that align with each patient's unique needs and goals. The clinician in this role will perform a range of aesthetic services and procedures, maintaining a strong understanding of skincare products, protocols, and serving as a knowledgeable resource for both patients and team members. The Aesthetician works collaboratively with the clinic and training teams to ensure the highest standards of care, actively participates in ongoing education, and contributes to a supportive and patient-focused environment.
Position Requirements
- Perform professional skincare, aesthetic, and wellness treatments including but not limited to spa facials, chemical peels, dermaplaning, microneedling, laser services, body contouring treatments, and vitamin injections.
- Conduct thorough patient consultations and skin assessments using Visia device to create customized treatment plans.
- Collaborate with medical injectors and wellness clinicians to ensure a comprehensive plan of care.
- Prescribe medical grade skincare products and educate patients on proper use and benefits.
- Maintain detailed, accurate patient records and comply with all safety and HIPAA regulations.
- Ensure treatment rooms and equipment are clean, organized, and properly maintained.
- Stay informed on the latest advancements in skincare products, treatments and technology and collaborate with the Director of Clinical Operations and Training to pursue continuing education.
- Participate in training sessions, team meetings, and continuing education opportunities.
- Support retail sales and promote patient loyalty through exceptional customer service and routine follow-up.
- Meet and strive to exceed individual and team KPI’s including rebooking rates, retail conversion, patient retention, and service revenue targets.
- Willingness to participate in local marketing initiatives, promotional events, and grassroots outreach efforts to support Facial Aesthetics brand awareness and patient acquisition.
Education and/or Skills Required
- Active Colorado state licensure as an Aesthetician
- Minimum 1-3 years' experience in a medical spa, dermatology office, or similar clinical setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong knowledge of skin health, aging, acne, and aesthetic treatment/product modalities
- Ability to provide compassionate patient care and maintain patient confidentiality
The base pay for this role is $21-$23 per hour based on experience, plus commissions and bonus opportunities.
